Jean-Michel then settled in Los Angeles, where he now enjoys a cross-continental career.


He is a founding member of the award winning theatre company The Next Arena, which has produced a string of critically acclaimed plays. 


Jean-Michel also has a thriving voice over career, and is recognized as one the top European voice talents in Los Angeles. 


Jean-Michel lives in Hollywood with his wife and his greatest accomplishment, eight year old daughter Tatyana.


Most recently, Jean-Michel shot a supporting role in Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie starring Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis and Jeff Goldblum.  In the voice over arena, he was honored to dub Colin Firth’s Oscar nominated turn in The King’s Speech, among more than two hundred other films since the beginning of his career.

Jean-Michel Richaud grew up in Paris and

has lived and worked all over Europe, spending much time in Spain, Germany and Holland.


He received his masters degree at Sorbonne University and completed studies at Paris’s renowned National Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.  While at the Conservatory, he won a scholarship to study at New York’s Columbia University, under the tutelage of director Andrei Serban.


During his time in New York, Jean-Michel

appeared in numerous Off-Broadway

productions.
